Meet Cindy

For me, art is as essential as breathing, a way to express what I feel in the moment. Since discovering pen & ink art in 1988, I've also embraced watercolors and experimenting with mixed media. However, my love for pen & ink remains the foundation for my artwork, offering me the freedom to create without limits.

Growing up without cell phones, I spent most of my childhood outdoors; exploring the woods, climbing trees, and playing in the bog. This deep connection to nature, with its vibrant colors and simple moments, continues to inspire my art today. The sights and sounds of nature in Charleston's lowcountry, like ocean waves and birds singing, always brings me back to the nostalgia of those carefree days.
